What broke or surprised: enterprise complexity plus implementation cost is the recurring theme. Dedicated implementation partner plus 90-to-180 day deployment is the realistic baseline. Per-module licensing means costs scale with breadth - just procurement plus AP plus expense pushes annual licensing well above 100,000 USD for a mid-market deployment. UX feels enterprise-tier mature but dated compared to Ramp S128 modern design. Supplier portal experience for small vendors had friction (some smaller suppliers prefer email PO than the portal). Customization for non-standard approval workflows required Coupa Professional Services time.
