Editor's verdict
Tactiq is a solid freemium pick, rated 4.3/5 by 1,540 users. Best for individual meeting notes with custom ai-generated summaries and sales call follow-up with tailored next-step extraction. Standout: no bot joins the call - runs as a Chrome extension invisibly. Watch out: chrome extension only - does not work on Safari or Firefox.
About Tactiq
Tactiq is a browser extension that adds real-time transcription to Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams calls without requiring a bot to join. It captures the live transcript as the conversation unfolds and lets users highlight key moments with a single click during the meeting. After the meeting, Tactiq connects to ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to generate customised summaries - users can choose from preset prompts or write their own to extract exactly the output they need from the transcript. This prompt-based approach is more flexible than fixed-template summaries: a product manager can ask for feature requests mentioned, a salesperson can ask for objections raised, and a recruiter can ask for candidate red flags - all from the same transcript. Tactiq syncs completed transcripts to Notion, Google Docs, HubSpot, and Slack automatically.
