Tested Freshsales on 2026-05-16 across 4 workflows in a 14 day trial sandbox: importing 250 contacts from a CSV with auto-enrichment, the Freddy AI lead scoring engine running across the imported list, deal forecasting on a 30 deal pipeline, and the native phone plus email integration sending a 5 step sequence to 25 leads. Pull factors are Freddy AI for lead scoring plus deal predictions packaged into a Salesforce-style CRM at SMB pricing, the native Freshworks ecosystem hookup with Freshdesk plus Freshchat, and a true freemium tier that runs the core CRM features without payment.

Freddy AI lead scoring landed cleanly on the imported list, ranking 250 leads from 0 to 100 within 90 seconds using firmographic plus engagement signals, and the top 25 scored leads matched my qualitative assessment on 22 of 25. Deal forecasting on the 30 deal pipeline produced a 60 day revenue estimate with confidence intervals that felt reasonable vs my gut estimate, though the AI explanation for the prediction was thinner than HubSpot Sales Hub on the same data. Native phone plus email plus SMS integration sent the 5 step sequence end to end without third-party tools.
